Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order.

We accept all major credit cards, Paypal account payments and we also accept payment via cheque. When paying by credit card, you will be directed to our secure online payment facility via HSBC Online Payments.

Please be aware when paying by cheque that your order will not be despatched until we have received the cheque and it has cleared. If you wish to pay by by any other means, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accomodate your requirements.

All of our online payment facilities utilise secure servers and protecting your information is very important to us. If, for any reason, you would prefer not to enter your credit card details online, please contact us and we can make alternative arrangements.

We reserve the right to decline orders at our discretion. If this is the case, you will be informed as soon as possible and refunded in full immediately where applicable.

PASSING OF TITLE AND RISK

The risk in the goods shall pass to you on delivery. All goods, delivered or not, remain our property until payment is received in full. Until such time as payment in full is made you shall retain such goods separately from other goods and clearly mark them in such a way that they can be readily identified as being our property and any payment received by you for any sale of such goods must be held in a separate account in trust for us. In the event of non-payment by you for such goods we will, without loss of any rights or remedy, remove from your possession those goods belonging to us in accordance with these conditions and we shall be entitled to enter upon the property where the goods are stored and repossess and remove the same. You hereby grant us an irrevocable licence to enter your premises for the said purposes.
Shipping And Handling All of our orders are shipped via Business Post, providing that the order does not require palletised shipping. If the order is to be shipped on a pallet, we will inform you of this and use an appropriate courier based on your location and the nature of your order.

Shipping and Handling is charged at £24.95 per order for orders up to £400 in value. Orders over £1000 in value are shipped free of charge.
Delivery Schedule Delivery:

At Optimal Displays we strive to get your goods out to you as soon as possible. In the vast majority of cases our delivery time is within 7 days from the date your order is received, although very large orders may take a little longer. Please contact us via e-mail at customerservice@optimaldisplays.co.uk for further information.

Couriers:

All of our orders are shipped via Business Post (please visit www.business-post.com for further information), providing that the order does not require palletised shipping. If the order is to be shipped on a pallet, we will inform you of this and use an appropriate courier based on your location and the nature of your order.

If you are aware that your order will require palletised shipping, please give us a call on 01353 668045 and we can inform you of the applicable rates and timescales before you place your order.

Shipping and Handling Rates:

Our standard delivery charge is just £24.95, however, for orders over £1000 in value shipping is free of charge.

Please note that very large palletised orders or orders that are shipped to outlying areas of the UK may incur additional shipping charges. You will be informed if this is the case immediately and you WILL NOT be charged this additional fee without your prior agreement.

Special Arrangements:

During the checkout process, you will be given the option to enter any special delivery instructions you might have. Both our couriers and ourselves will do our best to accommodate these requests, but reluctantly there may be rare occasions where we are unable to do so. If this is the case, we will contact you as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements.

Tracking Your Shipment:

From the moment your order is collected from our warehouse right up to the time it arrives at your door, you can track the progress of your order online by visiting www.business-post.co.uk. We will e-mail you with your tracking details as soon as your order is packed up and ready to go.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, online ordering will not be possible. In the unlikely event that an item ordered is out of stock, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. You may then choose and alternative item, choose to wait until the item returns to stock (we will inform you of when we expect this to be) or request a refund at your discretion.

If you would like to order an item which is out of stock, please contact us via e-mail or telephone and we will put the item on back order for you.
Tax Charges All prices displayed on the Optimal Displays website exclude VAT at 17.5%. AT will, however, be added to the value of your goods once the checkout process commences.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. We do not collect any credit card details ourselves, for your security and peace of mind, credit card details are only collected by our third party credit card specialists HSBC and Paypal. Payment details are not held in clear text on any web site or within our database.
Guarantee
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING GRAPHICS

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your completed graphics, we will replace any items which fall below our quality control standards or are deemed to not bare a true likeness to the original proof supplied.

IF, HOWEVER, THE COMPLETED GRAPHICS ARE DEEMED TO BE OF AN ACCEPTABLE STANDARD AND LIKENESS TO THE SIGNED-OFF PROOF, REPLACEMENT WILL INCUR ADDITIONAL CHARGES.

* Please note: Once graphic proofs have been signed off by the customer, Optimal displays does not hold any responsibility for any faults there after.

DESIGN SERVICE: Should you choose to use Optimal displays design service, a final proof will be sent to you for approval. Once final approval has been achieved, Optimal displays cannot be held liable for any mistakes or further requests for changes to the artwork.

Privacy Policy Optimal Displays do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Returns Policy Returns for items that have not arrived damaged or are unwanted will be at the managers discretion. All such returns will be subject to a 20% restocking and collection fee (There is a minimum charge of £15.00).

To be eligible for a return credit, all items must be in pristine (as new) condition and in original packaging and we must be notified in writing within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Items that are ordered as bespoke items or made to order items including any printed items (items with customer specific graphics) or other such items are not eligible for refund or return under any circumstance.

Please NOTE: if you have purchased goods on a credit account, no refunds will be issued unless goods were recieved in a faulty condition.

Breakages:

All orders are packaged by us to the best of our ability to avoid damages, however we are limited in ensuring that damage does not take place during transit.

Should you receive a damaged order, please call or e-mail us immediately to inform us of the situation. Once we have been notified, we will make every effort to 'make good' the situation, this will be via refund, replacement, repair etc as we feel the situation merits. While we understand that this may cause a certain amount of inconvenience, please kindly note that original lead times will still apply for a replacement. Please ensure that you have your order number to hand when calling or e-mailing in order for us to locate your order.

Please note that we will only send free of charge replacements if we are notified within 2 days of you receiving the goods.
